In brief
This is a small visitor guide run by volunteers. We don’t sell anything, we don’t run ads, and we don’t sell or share your information with advertisers. Last updated September 27, 2026.
What we collect
When you visit
A self-hosted statistics tool on our own web server counts visits. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, and the general type of browser and device, which tells us what people actually use and what’s broken. That data stays on our server. Advertising networks never see it.
Our web server and security software also keep the standard technical logs almost every website keeps (IP address, time, requested page), to keep the site running and fend off attacks.
When you email us
The only personal information we collect is whatever you put in an email to contact2026@wildirismarketing.com: your email address, your name if you include it, your message and any photos you attach. We use it to reply to you and, if you sent a trail report, correction or photo, to update the site. You won’t end up on a mailing list. If we use your trail report on the site, we leave your name off unless you ask to be credited.
Maps and downloads
The interactive map loads its tiles from our own servers, not a commercial map service. GPX and PDF downloads are plain files. The “Google Maps” and “Apple Maps” buttons are ordinary links, so nothing goes to those services until you tap one. After that, their privacy policies apply.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may set a few technical cookies for security or to remember simple preferences.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources like the U.S. Forest Service, Jefferson County and Colorado Parks and Wildlife, to other trail resources, and to our Facebook page. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

To have us delete a message you sent, or to ask what we hold about you, email contact2026@wildirismarketing.com.
